Mini Nubian Goats

mini nubian doe and kidsMini-Nubians are bred to look like standard Nubians without the large size. Mini-Nubians are easier to handle, have great personalities, come in all colors and patterns, and produce 3-8 lbs of milk per day depending on doe.

Our journey into the realm of mini-Nubians in February of 2017 with the opportunity to purchase a pair of ADGA registered Nubian does. We drove out to Whitehall, NY to meet the breeder and her lovely goats. We chose Cossayuna HS Tinka Toy and Shady Maple Bess to found our mini-Nubian line. Our first year breeding only produced 1 F1 mini-Nubian buckling. We were more fortunate in 2019 with the birth of 3 lovely F1 doelings-Beautiful Ride, Bunny, and Twilight Ride. 2020 saw us add 3 more F1 doelings of our breeding- Babe, Bliss, and Oopsie. We were also fortunate to add 3 MDGA registered does from outside lines-Grace, Glory and Rowan- to our small herd in 2020. With our herd growing, we purchased our first mini-Nubian buck, Rambler.

Our F1 does are registered with TMGR and descend from Sugar Moon O Rough Ryder *B-either his daughters or granddaughter. The MDGA registered does and buck all descend from Green Gables lines. See respective pages for more information on our does and buck.
